Valve actuationNew concepts in engine development call for new responses in valve train systems. We pursue an integrated approach in this field as well, and are thus able to optimize the valve train system as a whole. Long-standing experience and extensive expertise in the large engine segment contribute to a leadership position just as much as the results we derive from our test benches for commercial vehicle engines. At present, make-to-print still plays a significant role in the development and optimization of individual components or entire assemblies. In the future, however, this procedure will shift toward customized products. We employ a variety of state-of-the-art simulation tools, which allow us to draw important conclusions concerning the product design, material selection, and overall design.
