Components should therefore have the least amount of friction and exhibit a high load capacity. MAHLE cam followers meet these requirements to a high degree. They are available in two types: using roller actuation or sliding actuation. The benefits of roller tappets are their outstanding wear characteristics. They are thus optimized for the high loads in the valve train. The material for the running surfaces and coatings are individually tailored to the application. Precisely fitting components are the result, which can be optimally integrated in the valve train and ensure maximum service life with minimum wear.
